About Us

Cheltenham Panthers Football Parents Association (FPA) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Cheltenham High School Football Program.

The purpose of the FPA is to support and promote our boys through their participation in the CHS Football program.  The FPA goal is to enhance the football experience through fundraising activities and community relations for both the players and the coaches.  The FPA also exists to increase the interest, involvement and parent participation in the CHS Football Program.

Although football is a Fall sport and is played only three months a year, successful programs require the student athlete to work year round.  Our new coaching staff, under the direction of new head coach Ryan Nase, who has already put in countless hours working with our boys.  We are very excited to have Ryan leading the Cheltenham Football Program.

You’ll be amazed at the amount of information that needs to be communicated to parents and players throughout the year.  Just as the boys are training year round for the coming season, the FPA begins planning and meetings before the end of each school year.  The FPA is extremely excited with the creation of our new website. This is an important step, and vital improvement in the way we communicate to parents.  In addition, we communicate regularly through email.  If you have not been receiving emails from the FPA, then we do not have your email address.  Please send your up-to-date email address to cheltenhamfootballparents@gmail.com.

Much of what enables us to do what we do for the CHS Football Program comes from fundraising activities throughout the season.  Without them and your support, we could not exist.  Our key fundraisers include Car Washes, Spirit Wear Sales, CHS Football Program, Beef-N-Beer, Designer Bag Bingo (November 4, 2017), and more. We also raise funds through the sale of Spirit Wear and Football Programs at all home games. Each year a major portion of funds raised go to the purchase of Senior Varsity Jackets, and JV/Freshman awards given at the end of season Awards Banquet. Look for more information within our website on these important activities and fundraisers, and how you can participate.

The CHS FPA thanks the many individuals and local businesses who have supported our football program.  We’d also like to thank those parents who have been active in the association so far this year and encourage additional parents to jump on board.  The strength of this organization lies solely on us as parents.  It doesn’t matter if you’re a parent of a senior, or a middle school player, or if you help in a big or small way, it all counts.  I hope you will consider getting involved in some way. If you’re not sure how to get involved, send us an email or simply come to one of our monthly meetings.  There are plenty of opportunities to help our boys!

Thank you for your continued support and — Go PANTHERS!
